La Vuelta will be racing by in half an hour. People talk quietly while they are waiting.

Children want to go home. Of course because this waiting is only for the fathers. Even the mothers came along for peace of mind in the family. Fortunately, more and more cars and motorcycles pass by. The men meanwhile check their mobile phones to see where the riders are. They are at least 10 km from here. And we are her for hours jet.
The advertising caravan has already passed for 10 minutes. That meant nothing.
Some people have been waiting here for more than two hours. As cycling enthusiasts, you quickly build a bond among each other. True, still a lost piece of advertising that passes. Children are getting harder and harder. "Waiting is boring"!
A bunch of college students with a significant amount of beer also come and have a look at the course.
Mama, how long will it be before they come? Five minutes, mom and dad are lying.
Meanwhile, a student opens another can of beer.
More and more cars and engines of the organization pass by. Would it still.....

In the distance you hear the helicopter. That offers perspective.
There seems to be more police on the move than during the Pope's visit to the Netherlands in 1985.

Mothers instruct the children to cheer when the cyclists pass by. If that happens in North Korea for Kim, we think that encourages state coercion, lol.
Sure enough, the helicopter and the riders. Everyone delighted. The leading group of 4 is over with the peloton a little later and we can go home again. Just pack everything up and go home. The students now have thick tongues and are laughing.

That's what we did it all for; two hours waiting for dearly paid men on bicycles who pass in three minutes and nineteen seconds. If there would be no leading group, it would take 50 seconds. We got lucky. And that without mountains.
