Quiet afternoon in winter field Dec 2020. 
Far the sound of civilization. Here, also from a distance, some birds in the field. I recognize the crow and the jay. For a moment a blackbird with a short alarm call. He will not sing until a few weeks later. The ladies on horses stare across the fields and chat with each other. They slowly approach the path. With every breeze the last leaves of the oak tree fall. A rooster on the farm in the distance crows for a moment.
Recorded on the border of deserted forests and fields.
Behind me is the De Loonse En Drunense Duinen nature reserve with mainly pine trees. To the left a sandy path with deciduous trees and, just like before me, deserted lands. The
