Ambiance of calm city marina in the summer.

In front of me, some 10 meters below, people are sitting on the deck of their yacht. Children walk on the ramparts of this beautiful town of Heusden. They have audible pleasure. Across the river, 500 meters away, you can hear the tracks of an excavator. There is always a lot of maintenance on our rivers, floodplains and dikes.

Minute 3; A man was reading a book with his folding chair on the narrow jetty. Suddenly a paw shoots from the jetty and the book is floating in the water. The man just managed to keep himself dry. Later you hear him talking about the incident with his neighbor (minute 22).

Sometimes people walk by. A mother sits with her son a little further away. They talk together.

Of course you regularly hear boats and rumbling on the ships and the jetties. It is all very pleasant here.

Sometimes you hear the hammering on the right at the shipyard at Mastdijk, 500 meters away.

minute 11; As the water moves you can hear the crunching of the bollards along the ships and the jetty.

minute 12; For a moment the carillon in the city.

minute 24; A Chinook helicopter of defense comes straight at us and turns left above the river. Everything vibrates.

Weather: 22c, clear sky, wind NNW 2 bft with gusts to 15 km/h, 1024 hPa, humidity 40%.
