Quiet forest on the edge of civilization in the South of the Netherlands.
It is in National Park ‘Loonse en Drunense Duinen’.
People recreate here on this windless autumn early Sunday morning at the end of October.
Sometimes you can hear them. Several birds chirping.
Aircraft noise in the distance when played loud. Hear, complaining of a buzzard? Distant barking dogs. Far men on ATB bikes fly chatting through the forest. The first strokes of tennis rackets. From now on it is no longer quiet.
It’s not clear to me where the deep humming comes from. Maybe from the farm (NW) 1km away, left over the channel. Every sound is far. Remark that the gain of the Sound Device mixer is on the max during this recording (+60dB). So this recording should be played on a really low level.
