An embanked lake close to the river Maas in Holland end of August 2016.
Left the river on 400m, in front a recreation area (500m) where many people have there holiday, right the dike and village/hamlet Kessel.
Hear the kids and youngsters on the other side of the lake having fun, the people shipping on small boats, people on the peninsula where I am recording now (left), the traffic on the dike and several birds in and on the water. And far dogs. Sometimes the wind in the trees. Two pikes, one small and one large, hunts on other fish in frond of the microphone (an advantage when you have to sit still while performing your hobby).
Location: recreation area 'de Lithse Ham', Maren-Kessel, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands (Holland), Europe. Geo maps: 51.8077125823 5.40149688720999
Weather: sunny, 21c, wind N-NE 2-0bft. Mics pointed NE.
Date time: August 17th 2016, afternoon. Between 9-10pm just after sunset.
An other recording here in March 2015 (other season, other sounds:

Gear chain: Rode NT4 XY (fore sides left and right) and a Rode NTG-1 shotgun (for mid-signal) in Rode Blimp > Sound Devices 302 (coder for MS-recording >Tascam dr-100 Mk2.
This strange MS-setup is developed by me to make it possible to make wide stereo recordings on a distance.
This is a MS (mid-side)-recording is encoded in STEREO Left-Right, so you can encode it to MONO without losing quality of sound.
When you use this sound it would be nice if you spent a voluntarily donation to freesound.
YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO CREDIT/ATTRIBUTE me (klankbeeld) and freesound.org in your work if you use this sound.
Please do it like this if possible: http://freesound.org/people/klankbeeld/
Thank you.
