weird noises detected with hydrophones buried in the sea-dune at the Dutch coast.
The mics are 5cm under the surface, close to the beach-huts.
What you hear;
Sand falling down from the dunes, because of the hole I have made.
Bouncing noise of people in the beach-huts.
Noise of the wind trough the sand-reed (marram).
Noise of an eating animal/insect under the sand (sounds like scratching wood)
Gear chain: two Aquarian Audio Hydrophones H2a XLR 3m > Sound Devices 302 >Tascam dr-100 Mk2.
