This is a melody composed and performed by Norwegian sound designer and artist Kjartan Abel. The track/melody was intended, but NOT limited to be used in computer games, YouTube content, podcast, movie, and television productions.

My recording studio is basically a computer with a controller keyboard and a MK3 Micro. All sounds and instruments are created with Virtual Studio Technology (VST) plugins. I do my best to master the recordings I upload, but some of the older recordings lack mastering.

The file format for this recording is WAV, 44100.0 Hz, 16-bit, Stereo.
Sound library: Native Instruments KOMPLETE 13 ULTIMATE Collector’s Edition. U-He Diva.
Sequencer: Native Instruments Maschine or Waveform.
Mastering: iZotope plugin.

When you listen to the sounds before downloading (on FreeSound.org), you're listening to mp3 or ogg previews of the sounds encoded in relatively low bit rates to save bandwidth. No (dynamics) compression is applied at all out of that that the mp3 or ogg encoder itself might add (which should be minimal or none). This results in a high-pitched squeaking sound in the audio.
When you download the recording, you get the exact same original file that was uploaded, no transcoding nor any kind of editing at all, without the squeaking.
