Amateur Caribbean steel band playing indoor. (1st file)
Here we are in the cafeteria / coffee shop of a music school located in Nanterre (suburbs of Paris, France), while an amateur Caribbean steel band is playing some music.
In the background, some voices, and cheering at the end.
Great thanks to ‘’Les Metalos’’, steel band du Conservatoire de Nanterre, for giving me the opportunity to record this audio file.
Recorded in January 2026 with a Zoom H5studio and its Zoom XYh-5s stock microphone.
Fade in/out applied in Audacity.

My brother-in-law is from Suriname. It was through him that I first discovered steel band music 60 years ago. It takes me back to the old days. Thank you for that Kevin.
