Quiet night in a Filipino suburb.
I made this recording at about 2:00AM, from the terrace of a house located at Santa Monica Heights, which is a costal residential area near Calapan city (oriental Mindoro, Philippines).
One can hear insects (mostly crickets as well as a slight hum, probably from the neighbours’ air conditioner.
In the distance, dogs barking, geckos from time to time, some vehicles passing by, and in the second part of the file, some roosters slowly waking up.
At #11:48, probably a bat flying over ? (please confirm if you know !)
Recorded in August 2025 with an Olympus LS-P4 and a Rode Stereo videomic X (SVMX).
Fade in/out applied in Audacity.
