Walking through Xentro Mall, calapan city (binaural, please use headset for 3D effects).
I made this binaural recording while walking through Centro mall (in Calapan city, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines).
One can hear the atmosphere of this medium sized mall, from its entrance to the noisy arcade games area.
Recorded in August 2025 with a Zoom H5studio and Ohrwurm 3D binaural microphones.
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 60Hz -6dB/oct applied in Audacity.
(If you want to use this sound as a mono audio file, you may have to delete one channel to avoid phase issues).

What a beautiful sound recording. I walked with you for a moment.
It reminds me of teaching new routes to a blind colleague.
"Look, a new planter has been installed here. Handy, isn't it, right in the middle of the walking area. And there are often advertising flags here that you can bump into. Don't be alarmed, it's nothing."
She taught me to look and listen carefully. Now, I benefit from that when I'm doing my field recordings.
