Hundreds of flying foxes (probably ‘acerodon jubatus’) at Puerto Galera. (take 1)
I made this recording at dusk, in Puerto Galera (Oriental Mindoro, Philippines) while hundreds (maybe thousands ?) flying foxes were screaming and ready to fly.
In the background, one can hear the hum from the town, and some human voices.
Recorded in July 2025 with a Zoom H5studio (built-in XY microphones).
Fade in/out applied in Audacity.
