Jazz music and teenage choir (6th file).
Here we are in a medium sized concert hall called La Seine Musicale, located in Boulogne-Billancourt (western suburb of Paris, France), where 2 actors, 7 jazz musicians and 250 young amateur choristers from 11 to 14 years old are performing a musical show titled ‘’Le tour du monde en 80 lunes’’.
Here, two songs are performed : ‘’Interlude extatique’’, then ‘’En mer, le plus grand danger c’est la terre’’ (starting at #2:50).
Pay attention to the wind and water/light rain sound effects made by the teen-agers in the first part, as well as the heavy rain and thunder SFX in the second one (for the thunder, the teen-agers jump on the wooden stage). Really nice, isn’t it ?
Great thanks to Mrs Leila Olivesi and Mr Samuel Auclair for giving me the opportunity to record this awesome performance !
Recorded in June 2025 with a Zoom H5studio (built-in XY microphones).
Fade in/out applied in Audacity.
