Indoor mic comparison : Rycote OM-08 vs Clippy EM272 – OM-08 version.
For my friend Nico and all of you who might be interested, here is a microphone comparison between Rycote OM-08 and Micbooster Clippy EM272.
This is the OM-08 version, recorded in a quiet bedroom of a modern flat, with double glazing windows, while kids were running upstairs,. The pulse noise is a Maneki Neko (Japanese cat doll moving its arms, symbolizing good fortune in several Asian cultures). Mics were placed about 36cm apart.
