Tourists at Piazza di Duomo, Florence, Italy (binaural, please use headset for 3D effects).
I made this recording standing at Piazza di Duomo (in Florence, Italy), during a nice spring day, at about 11AM.
One can hear lots of tourists chatting in different languages while walking, some of them are pulling luggage on the cobbled square, In the background, some noises from the surroundings like bicycles passing by, birds from time to time, typical sounds from restaurants getting ready for customers, cars honking in the distance, as well as a distant beep from a taxi going slowly through this crowded pedestrian area.
Recorded in April 2024 with an Olympus LS-P4 and Ohrwurm 3D binaural microphones.
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 60Hz -6dB/oct applied in Audacity.
(If you want to use this sound as a mono audio file, you may have to delete one channel to avoid phase issues).
