Carillon and pedestrian square at 6PM (binaural, please use headset for 3D effects).
I made this recording around 6PM during a warm day at the end of summer, in a wide pedestrian square of Nanterre (suburb of Paris, France)
One can hear office workers going home while chatting, some lite vehicles (scooter, moped, and bicycle) passing by through the area, and traffic in the background. At 1’38’’, the carillon will play the melody usually played every Wednesday, and a dog will bark. Then, one can hear more clearly these 2 kids playing around (one on his bicycle, and the second trying to shot the first one with is ball !).
Recorded in September 2023 with an Olympus LS-P4 and Ohrwurm 3D binaural microphones.
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 60Hz -6dB/oct applied in Audacity.
