Carnaval de Paris, Paris carnival (Take 2).
I made this recording from the side of a street, during Carnaval de Paris (Paris Carnival), held in the French capital every year at the end of February or at the beginning of March.
This second file has been recorded at about the half of the circuit followed by the parade in the city. One can hear several groups of South American, Caribbean, and African people marching while playing music, dancing and singing with colourful carnival masks and attires. Other groups are also following vehicles equipped with loud speakers broadcasting music from their native countries . If you whish, you’re welcome to follow them and come to the party ! ;-)
In the background, walla from the people watching. Very happy and festive atmosphere !
Recorded in February 2023 with a Centrance MixerFace R4R and PivoMic PM1 in AB position.
Fade in/out applied in Audacity.
