Calm summer evening atmosphere at Lot riverside, with church bell.
I made this recording at about 50meters from the side of Lot river, in the south-west of France, during à nice summer evening, around 7PM. The environment was very peaceful.
One can hear crickets, hot wind in the bushes and the small trees, distant voices from some people swimming and having fun in the river, some birds, a rooster, a cicada, some flies from time to time... And at 0’21’’, the bell of the small church on the other side of the river (about 800m from me) will ring 7 times, then, at 5’21’’, it will ring again many times, almost up to the end of the recording.
Recorded in August 2022 with an Olympus LS-P4 and Immersive Soundscapes EarSight microphones in AB position.
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 60Hz -6dB/oct applied in Audacity.
