Ship arriving at the pier.
I made this recording from the porthole of a small sized ship, during a summer day, between Port Vendres and Collioure, in the south-west of France.
Here, one can hear the ship arriving in Collioure. At the beginning, the engine of the boat and wavelets can be heard. Then, as the ship is arriving, one can hear people talking French on the pier, and in the background, the church bell ringing for 5 o-clock. Right on time !
Recorded in July 2022 with an Olympus LS-3 (internal microphones, TRESMIC system on).
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 160Hz -6dB/oct applied in audacity.
