Travel in a jeepney through Manila, Philippines. (binaural, please use headset for 3D effect)
I made this binaural audio recording while sitting in a jeepney travelling in Manila (Philippines). I was sitting on the left bench of the jeep, with the back door on my right, and the front of the vehicle on my left.
In this recording, you can hear passengers talking, traffic in the streets around (other vehicles, horns, etc...). After a while, the driver decides to turn on the music, then you can also hear clearly the horn from a train passing by slowly near the street, bitween lots of small houses. According to me, this recording sounds very “manileno”. ;-)
Recorded in January 2019 with an Olympus LS-3 and Soundman OKM I binaural microphones (version 2018).
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 80Hz -6dB/oct applied in Audacity.
