Old Music Box

Theme from 1968 film Romeo and Juliet, written by Nino Rota, who did the music for all of Fellini's films too.

Hi there! It is the real sound. I recorded it from a wind up music box from the 70s. Is the music box mechanism itself which fades the sound, is non-digital. Best.

Breathtaking! And I was so glad that you slowed down towards the end. Very musical performance :)
I may use this as a sample with my live improvised drum/electronics set if that's ok?
