I made this recording as a reflection and meditation for our dear friend John. John is dying. He is very sick and is confined to his bed with his beautiful family and friends close by.
Twilight is a profoundly beautiful time, as is dawn. It is the liminal space between the day and the night. A place of transition.
For those that may use this sound in the background or for meditation please be aware there are 2 distant gunshots a couple of minutes into this recording. People in this neighbourhood sometimes go hunting.

Recorded with a mid-side stereo configuration using a Sennheiser MKH 416 paired with a MKH 30 into my Zoom F4.

I hope in his passing that he got the best out of his life and was loved as he passes on. That in this sound will serve as a remembrance is a beautiful statement. Many good thoughts to him.
