This is just a recording of my attempts to say words with the feelings they specify, e.g., saying "anger" in an angry voice. Recorded using a Blue Snowball mic in a Blue Ringer shockmount into Adobe Audition where I did some noise reduction, cropping, and other minimal clean-up and shortening.

IMO ~10dB of noise-reduction is the point at which it causes conspicuous harm. Afterwards can use a noise-gate to reduce/remove any hiss in the silent sections.

Ah, OK, that's good feedback to have, I will keep it in mind to be less aggressive with that. I'm admittedly a hack when it comes to audio production, but I'm willing to learn!

I'm looking forward to series 2, including "surprised", "disgusted", & "constipated" :¬)
But seriously, there's a way too much noise-reduction on that.
