I tried to mock the sound of spinning the chamber of a revolver for a game. Didn´t find anything that fit my needs so I tried to produce one on my own.
It´s a ratchet, spun once and played with about 150% speed.

I actually manipulated the sound for a project of mine in school and used it for the classic western scene where they spin the gun before they put it back into their holster. Great sound I love how you detail what you used.

Thanks! Great sound. Will probably use it in a musical composition of mine, to pitch for an online animation project. Thanks so much!

Excellent. Along with a few other sound effects I will be using this for a new feature in my weekly podcast. I will be playing songs randomly from my itunes folder and I will be calling the feature russian roulette.
If any dodgy tunes come up there will be a gun shot before I play the track - cheers - spot on sound!

Hi,
that was exactly what I needed. I use it for a spinning cowboy spur, I just have to make it stereo. Thanks a lot!!
