I write and create music for film and as an independent artist and work as a sound designer. I started composing for film in 2009. Since then I've composed music for documentaries for several Dutch tv networks.
I like to blend acoustic instruments (acoustic guitar, harmonium, cello, piano) with soundscapes and alienating electric guitar sounds.

As a sounddesigner I have worked on several documentaries by director Geertjan Lassche for Dutch tv networks (NPO, 2DOC, VPRO, VARA, EO, TV-Oost) and for local foundations (Sous Les Arbres, HCO). When working on a film I always aim to create something that's as organic as possible, where picture and sound don't only complement but also amplify each other.
For most of these films I've composed music as well.
