The foreboding sound of fear. Something is watching you... or is it all in your head? I think I might have been subconsciously channeling some of the noises on FSOL’s ‘Lifeforms’. Might be useful for gabber, dark ambient and soundtracks. Created using a rainstick sample mutated in Audacity with Paulstretch and loads of effects.

I used this as part of an occasionally recurring sound effect in a recent audio project - a three-hour ambient track. It helps to turn up the ambient creep-factor when it appears. I'm glad I found it. Thanks for making this sound available!
