Ahh the Volvo 740, I miss that car, fun and unique, many memories in the 2 740s my family owned growing up. When I got mine at 17, we put a police siren in it, drifted it on baseball fields, wrapped it with christmas lights and drove around, plus many more adventures. Ahh the days before smartphones to distract us.
The electrical system went out in it cause my dad barfed while the window was rolled up and a lot of it got into the air ducting... when we got home my dad said "wait... I'll clean it up..." and to my surprise he brought out the garden hose and started spraying water into the air ducting (he was a bit drunk, which is why he barfed)... which actually short circuited the police siren, and at 1am it was wailing at full volume in our driveway, and we couldn't shut it off. At the time it was a "wtf" moment, but I'm laughing my ass off now remembering it.
Had to sell it eventually because of the electrical problems, but was an awesome car to drive for the 7 or 8 years I had it.
