I used a pen as a percussion instrument, vigorously striking a hard surface to achieve optimal intensity and regularity of sound. This audio recording represents an external person hammering, as if they were in the midst of construction. To avoid the sound being too simplistic, I added an "echo" effect to give a spatial dimension to the sound, creating the impression that the hammering is taking place in an open space. The echoes serve to enhance the percussion by adding depth and texture to the sound. For distortion and modulation, I used the "phase" option, which I increased to 18 and adjusted the depth to 100, and then added the echoes and finally I changed the speed by setting it to 0.620, controlled the pitch from low to high at 27.0
