The beautiful sounds of office life.
This sound began with shorter, more lurching/lilting sounds (not in recording), which had the primal quality of ailed vocalizations. Before this recording was obtained, it leveled off into a constant droning--but not before it was christened "Chewbacca."
A lovely sound indeed to start on a Friday afternoon, with neither warning nor explanation, only to stop an hour later, equally unheralded. Then start again--until at our urgent entreaties, Management appeared to fix the problem.
Apparently it was another incident related to the HVAC system. TGIF.
