Saxophone solo recorded under the Tallinn Song Festival Arch in winter (-9°C).
Single take, 100% raw recording, no editing or processing.
Performed alone, capturing the natural acoustics of the arch.
Recorded with Schoeps MSTC 74 and Sound Devices MixPre-6 II.
100% raw, no processing.
Natural acoustics.

This melody is entirely a creation of my own mind. I freely allow it to be used, modified, remixed, or adapted without asking me for permission.
I also apologize for a few imperfect notes, small slips, and moments where the rhythm is not perfectly steady — it was recorded as a completely natural and unprocessed live performance.
Between the two main motifs, you can hear a crow cawing in the background.

The most difficult part was actually getting permission to play under the arch. Because of icy conditions, access to the area is normally prohibited for safety reasons.
In the end, I called the director of the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds and received verbal permission to carry out the recording at my own responsibility. Otherwise, it would have been an illegal act — something I definitely did not want to do.
If you listen carefully to the very end of the piece, you can hear my footsteps crunching in the snow.

What a brilliant recording. You can feel the warmth of the musician and the coldness of the surroundings afterwards.
