At 3.30 am it is already light in Scotland in the middle of June. I recorded this near a forest in Tayside, using those Shure WL 183 microphones, a FEL preamp into an iriver ihp-120.

Beautiful, impressive recording indeed. And amazingly clean, did you filtered out low freqs in some way during post, or was it naturally this clean? At 6 min I can hear wing fluttering (and a plane overheading at 7 min), but other than that there is no background hum noise so I'm at a loss. And the gear you used has no low-cut filters to my knowledge. Then?
