This recording was done early in the morning near where the Varde Ã
river flows into the bay of Ho Bugt, just north of Esbjerg. At this location there is a sizeable fen, meadows and marsh area, while a forest isn´t far away. You could hear some seagulls, insects flying against the
microphone (!), a peewit, some larks, ducks and birds I just don´t know
from their call. As I left the Shure microphones WL 183 unattended, I didn´t had a look at them. Any ideas?
Oh yes, and then there is this ominous noise in the background. Sorry! I don´t know if it comes from a boat or a tractor or s.th. similar.

As I see that Im not alone in my observations, its the simplicity, WAVE quality, plus most importantly, the long duration of this recording that makes it sing.
