Even that the gear was set up right, once that plane went over them microphones, there was plenty of clipping.

Okay, more informations: at the mo. Tegel airport is the main one in Berlin. Depending on the direction of the wind, the planes take off just above the houses and that makes a lot of noise! The Primo microphones I used were set up on the right recording level, using also a FEL preamp and all that into a PCM M10 recorder, but there is that clipping! Maybe just too loud.
