I placed those microphones at the edge of this forest in the south of Hanover / Germany. What you hear is some wind, leaves falling and the usual background hum of, well...civilization. EM 172 microphones into PCM-D50.

Damn. I downloaded it a long time ago and now found it again.
All other sounds were too noisy or too windy, but this one is definitely perfect. Thanks again.
