Negros Oriental, Philippines 2004

The call of a White-browed Shama from the trail climbing into the mountain forest on Mt. Talinas, Negros Oriental, Philippines. The "hum" of the machine-like chorus of cicadas can be heard in the background. Recorded with a Sony microcassette recorder. This recording inspired me to purchase better recording equipment to improve the sound quality, and be portable enough of the take with me on future adventures.
