A dawn chorus recorded in late March in the Romanche Valley, near Bourg d'Oisans in the Isère Alps. Featured along with the songs of a variety of birds, is a woodpecker doing its work periodically. Also heard are the nearby Romanche and Vénéon rivers.
Recorded using a pair of Sennheiser MKH8040s in ORTF arrangement.
