This is a recording of a snowstorm from within a tent at base camp on Toubkal, Morocco. The equipment used was a pair of Primo EM272s slung from the washing line just below the ceiling of the tent and recorded into a Zoom F3. Recording made 13th - 14th May, around midnight.
The intensity of the storm ebbs and flows with greatest intensity near the start. Other sounds heard are the wind flapping the walls of the tent and the roar of the nearby river in the Mizane Valley (Oued Rheraya). Voices heard are some noisy Lithuanians in a neighbouring camp. There are also occasional voices speaking Arabic. This was recorded during the night so I'm afraid I fell asleep during the recording and some of that is heard - I don't snore though.
The picture shown is from the tent earlier in the day before the snowing started.
