This was an S25 recorded travelling from Schulzendorf (Heiligensee) to Tegel in the Tegeler Forst (forest).
The sound of the train emerges from the soundscape of the forest birdsong. This was recorded in June 2023.
Recorded using a pair of Sennheiser MKH8020s mounted either side of a Jecklin disc.
