A recording made in the streets of Belfast (mainly Bradbury Place and Dublin Road) after the pubs close on a Friday night. The sounds of drunk young people are heard (occasional swearing!), bottles/glasses being dropped, kicked and broken, people being threatened/arguing and the sound of police car sirens. There is some sectarian chanting which is sadly emblematic of Belfast.
This was quite a dangerous environment so I recorded surreptitiously using Soundman OKMII binaural microphones into a Sony minidisc recorder.
