Recording of giant pandas made at the panda sanctuary in Chengdu, Sichuan province, China. Made in 2002 using a Sony Minidisc recorder and Soundman binaural mics. As well as the sounds of insects and distant traffic, the sounds of branches crunching and chewing are from the pandas.
