This recording is the piece Quickstep V from John Cages’ “A Dip in the Lake”.This was recorded from Waukegan Road and Wildberry Drive (Northfield) to Dalewood Lane (Hinsdale). On this recording you can hear my friend and myself on this journey riding trains, buses, and some Ubers. Some specific sounds that can be heard are the soft music playing in the uber (01:22), cars passing on the road (00:13), and other traffic sounds. For this piece and the others that I did, I wanted to show the happiness and joy that comes from adventuring with friends.
