I've only had one take of breaking glass mirror shot for feature film - so I used 3 different microphones at different input levels & position to avoid clipping.

This one is from Oktava MK-012 short condenser microphone with omni capsule to Sound Devices 788T.

Good one. I would like to use this in a silly song where the Opera singer breaks the glass. This is totally spot on for what I have in mind. Will acknowledge on youtube when posted under "The Little Pot boiler" - P.M.Adamson
