Standing at the start of a landing strip with my handheld stereo Tascam DR-05x recorder, I recorded the approach and landing of a British Airways Boeing 777-236ER aircraft powered by two Rolls Royce RB211 Trent 800 engines. The aircraft flew approximately 50 feet over my head. Wind noise unavoidable due to buffeting of the plane's wake and engine exhaust after passing overhead. (Note to self: wear hearing protection next time.)
