WARNING VERY LOUD

Recorded around 1 pm in Stockholm, Sweden. After several days of unusually high temperatures (around 30 celsius) a thunderstorm rolled in without warning. After recording 10 minutes of standard thunderstorm sounds, I thought I'd give it a rest. But you know, just a few more minutes.

This is a raw recording. No editing or has been done whatsoever. It is loud and it is distorted.

I want to use this in an audio production I plan on putting together after I complete the first episode script. The story is called U.S. Strategic Air Command: Special Ops, and is fiction. It is set in the year 3000, and is about a fictional team of special operations agents working as part of an umbrella group comprised of Offutt AFB, in Bellevue, Nebraska, Travis AFB, in Fairfield, California, NORAAD, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Fort Detrick, in Frederick, Maryland, and Langley Air Force Base, in Hampton, Virginia. The agents use "lightning guns," which basically utilize lazer beams on which to transfer high voltage electricity. The lazer beam serves as a wire so to speak, and the electricity travels down the beam and strikes a target. In some instances, missiles and other munitions are obliterated by the current when deployed in short burst mode, which will be what I use the lightning strike for. On continuous blast mode, this current deactivates vehicles and electrifies all conductive surfaces.
