Lost my recording of a train with a contact mic, would love to have a recording from silent tracks to silent tracks.
Mine was about 3 minutes for the lightrail passenger train and closer to 5 for a freight train.
I also had fresh laid, fresh ground, and just before a grinding which are all distinct sounds.
Wish me luck redoing my recordings, permissions are likely a lot more complex today
