Hello Hypercarton, thanks for your comment.
I've used external mic (a MS setup by Schoeps).
The zoom H4n is a good-cheap recorder, but as all the small recorder, its has limits and it's quite difficult to record the wind...

By the way, did you record the sound directly from the stereo mics that come with the Zoom H4n recorder? I'm wondering about buying it. Do you recommend it?
