Thanks! The "fluttering" was a recording glitch. I was using the "Voice Candy" program to record off my camera mic (this was before I figured out how to do this using Final Cut Pro.) I wound up with a low bitrate and glitchy recording, as the program is really only suited for voice notes. Still, I posted the sample because I think it captured the feel of an early morning by the train tracks.

One thing I like about this sample is what I hear to be insect wings fluttering close to the mic.
