Old 18th Century Scots Clock

18th Century Scottish clock rings the three-quarters hour. This is such a sweet, unusual clock. Recorded with a Schoeps stereo XY pair to Fostex PD-6.

@stib you're welcome. The recording session proved a great experience. We shot a scene for "Starting Out in the Evening" where the clock lived and of course, we had to stop this marvelous machine from operating during shooting. I was entranced enough with its sound to chat up the owners of the Soho loft and make arrangements to return and make the recording.
