This is a sound of crickets, birds and frogs at night. Its not directly recorded but made of a variety of real recordings. The sample includes many different cricket species, some frogs, a Common Loon and a Chuck-will's-widow calling in the background and it also contains a little bit of wind to make it feel more like an outdoor scene. All the cricket-, bird- and frog species and their real sounds resemble those in Oklahoma. So I have only checked on the nature in Oklahoma and mixed the sounds together. I have not even been there to listen to it myself. Tell me if it sounds like your home! Enjoy!

Thanks so much. I'm a teacher and if there's silence after I ask a question, I just play this sound loop. The students laugh out loud, but every time I play the loop, the students lose 1/4 point for classroom participation. Pretty sure that I'll retire the loop by the middle of the semester, but there's always next semester!
