This is a sample of lots of crickets singing in a field or meadow. This is not directly recorded but made of a variety of different (real) cricket recordings. The file includes two kinds of field cricket species. The "Fall Field Cricket" and the "Variable Field Cricket". Then there is a chorus of two tree cricket species. The "Prairie Tree Cricket" and the "Four-spotted Tree Cricket". The clicking sounds are recordings of some katydids. The mentioned species are very common in the western US. And the sample is perfect for scenes where you are in the field, meadow or in the prairie in late summer. Enjoy! :D I encourage you not to use this sound in projects and sounds that maybe are going to be sold due to copyright issues that could occur by doing so.

My wife has tenitis (ringing in her ears) and having a sound such as this looping really helps her sleep. This works great! Thanks!

Eric!!! Really awesome recording. I use it in a series of animated cartoons as a backdrop! I plan to do one film every week. It is still in its test fase as I am fiddling around how to get the most viewers.
This is one of the animations. Check out the rest as well! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-D-PQmMtYwg&feature;=related
Thanks a million!
