In the springtime beech forest, roe deer are in rut and give their powerful barks. Birds, undisturbed, continue to proclaim their songs: several song thrushes, coal tits, chaffinches, and robins, with blackcaps further in the background, and the distant bells of a flock of sheep in the meadows.
Recorded with a Tascam DA-P1 DAT recorder and a Telinga parabolic microphone.
